What you need to make Salted Caramel Pumpkin Latte
- 2 shots espresso
- 1 cup milk frothed
- 4 tablespoon pumpkin puree
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- Whipped topping for topping
- Caramel syrup for topping
- 1/3 teaspoon salt or sea salt for the top

How to make the drink
Brew the two shots of espresso as the box or packet recommends.
In a cup, add pumpkin puree and the sugar then stir in the espresso.
Froth the milk and pour it into the cup.
Top with whipped topping and caramel syrup then sprinkle with the salt.

How to make fresh caramel syrup
The easiest option is to just use store-bought caramel sauces but if you want to go all-in for your latte, you can make this from scratch.
You will need
- 1 cup caster sugar
- Half a cup of heavy (double) cream
- 1/4 cup butter
Put the sugar in a heavy frying pan with 4 tbsp of water. Heat until the sugar has dissolved, turn to full and bubble for 4-5 minutes. Once it looks like caramel, take it off the heat and stir in the create and butter then leave to cool. Store in a squeezy butter.
